Pricing and ordering

Custom Shop Basses are sold direct to the public. This eliminates third party markups and puts you in
direct contact with the person building your bass. When you have an idea of what you want you can
contact me with your design and specifications and I can quote you a price. I always try to work with
person's budget as long as it is within reason. If you want exhibit grade woods and high end components
expect a high price. A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required before construction begins and the
balance due is required before shipping. My preferred method of payment is Paypal but I will also accept
a U.S. Postal service money order, a cashier's check from a national bank or a personal check ( personal
checks must clear before construction begins and shipping). Prices will include your choice of a gig bag
or hard-shell case and FEDEX ground shipping so please let me know where the bass is shipping to. All
Custom Shop Basses carry a limited lifetime warranty on craftsmanship. Please note that all sales on
made to order instruments are final and only returnable for warranty work.

Before you buy:

Before making a payment we should both review, via email, the specs and design of the bass and all of
it's specific features. This will ensure that we are both on the same page and your project can move at a
productive pace and be completed within the estimated time range. It is best at this point to have all of
the details that you want ironed out as adding or changing things after construction begins may change
the time frame, may cause the project to be started over and will add to the cost. I understand completely
about an idea popping into your head after I start and always do my best to accommodate to ad that little
detail you thought of and hope that you understand that adding more time for me may cost you a little
more money.
